International singing superstar, Billy Newton-Davis, has been one of Canada’s premier entertainers for over 25 years. His roots were firmly planted at the age of 5 at a Baptist church in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio where he learned to sing gospel music. His first professional gig was as a backing vocalist for Gloria Gaynor. He then later performed on Broadway in the hit show ‘Bubblin Brown Sugar’ and also appeared in the Broadway production of ‘Stop The World I Want To Get Off’ starring Sammy Davis Jr.

His debut album, ‘Love Is a Contact Sport’ included the songs ‘Deeper’, ‘Right Beside You,’ and ‘Find My Way Back,’ and won Billy Newton-Davis the 1986 Juno award for Best R&B/Soul Recording and Most Promising Male Vocalist. His 1989 follow-up, ‘Spellbound’, included his most successful single ‘I Can’t Take It,’ as well as ‘Can’t Live with You’ (a duet with Celine Dion) – winner of the the 1989 Juno award for Best R&B/Soul Recording.

In 1991, Billy joined The Nylons and enjoyed a successful stretch performing and touring with the world-renowned singing group. Since leaving The Nylons, he has primarily concentrated on song writing and live jazz and gospel performances. Billy was a guest vocalist on the ‘Seekers Dialogue’ series with internationally acclaimed author and lecturer Marianne Williamson. In March 2008, Billy Newton-Davis performed with The Nylons in Madison, Wisconsin for an evening to celebrate their latest recording ‘Sterling’ 25 years of recording. This was an event that brought together other Alumni of The Nylons and produced an astonishing evening of music.

Billy Newton-Davis has extensively donated his talent towards humanitarian causes, raising money for various communities, AIDS awareness, Actors Equity, housing for people with mental illness and countless other charities and causes. Billy puts his heart first: “I want the world to know that I am sincere. I love what I do and I want to bring that sincerity to my fans when I perform.”

Still mixing up the sounds of the underground house scene is Toronto based DJ & Producer Cajjmere Wray. He stirs the mix along with many house styles from big room, electribal, tech-house, and adds a touch of ultra lavish vocals now and again. His influences in the industry are a musical collage that are very evident in Cajjmere’s live shows and production works, by then making him unique in his own distinct way. Though very often mistaken to be Curtis ‘Cajmere’ Jones from Chicago (aka, Green Velvet), Cajjmere Wray has set himself apart successfully still being able to manipulate any crowd into a frenzy, which is definitely part of what makes him a very rare talent.

Carl Daniel AKA Planet Heaven has been producing various genres of house music since Paul Oakenfold was resident at Cream. His tracks have been on two of Oakenfold’s biggest albums Cream Resident and Global Underground collectively selling over half a million copies world wide. Apart from many other tracks he was involved in the huge Bsssheads track ‘Is There Anybody Out There’ which went to Number 5 in the the UK top 40 again selling over 250k copies to date. The beginning of D.J.Generous’ professional creative way lays in the late 90th last century. The wave of a Disco-House has overflowed a planet and was accurately reflected in creativity of D.J.Generous – 2000 birthed the collection of the dancing single “Discoteque”, however his own creative ambitions have forced the author to styles of Easy Listening, New Age and Deep House.

A year later the first, shy attempt to express the creative ideas in “other” sound turned back an anthematic album “Romance” with prevailing sound of Ambient and New Age in the track list of a 60-minutes mix. Playing with crossed styles Ambient and Deep House, the disc “About U” with new tracks and remixes on again revived tracks from the past was released.

The little compiles a modular collection from tracks of albums “Romance” later, “About U” and as new compositions in style Deep House which carries the name “Aries and Libra”. In this album D.J.Generous for the first time plays solo parts on a saxophone and a grand piano – record has been made in the Big Concert Hall of Tchaikovsky in Moscow.

With support of several records-labels, there was an Internet compilation of remixes on a tracks of popular sound producers and singers, such as David Guetta, Leona Lewis, One Republic, Tim Deluxe, Katy Perry, Ledy Gaga etc. These compilations helped shake the Russian dance world well, most tracks has been played on the radio.

Now D.J.Generous is well-supported sound producer, working under club music solo singing and playing: the new sound, the new ideas, the new beginning.

Found lurking in the creative laboratory known as the “deadmau5 disco den of despair and inequity,” this creative ingenue runs the gamut of beats unlike any other. Since his inception deadmau5 has stormed our planet with chart topping action and playlists from the best of the best.
