A veteran of the U.S. dance scene, storied DJ and producer Keoki is at least as well-known for his flamboyant personality as for his ecstatic blend of techno, trance, breaks, and electro. Born in El Salvador and raised in Maui, Keoki made a name for himself in New York City during the mid-80s, going from busboy of the infamous Manhattan club Danceteria to becoming a star of the NYC rave scene as a part of the Club Kids nightlife movement.
